Jammu, Dec 3: In a bizarre incident an examination superintendent was allegedly come under attack by some miscreants when he was on way to home after completing his duty in Vijaypur area. A compliant stands registered with Vijapypur police. According to police sources, the injured identified as lecturer Anil Kumar got some severe injuries in his backbone after a stone hit him. "The incident took place just outside the examination centre No 6504 at Arvind Gosh Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur in Samba district where examination for Class 10 are being conducted by nodal examination authority - JK Board of School Education, sources said. They said that the attack on Superintendent is stated to be an outcome of enmity by a student whose answer sheet was snatched by superintendent. Sources said that the Superintendent snatched the answer sheet from a student appearing for the 10th class bi annual exam as he escaped with the question paper and returned to the examination hall after spending half an hour. After the incident, the assailants rushed from the spot. Meanwhile, Lok Sevak, president Plus 2 Lecturer Forum condemning the attack on a teacher performing duties has questioned the security of the teacher community deputed by the BOSE. Meanwhile, a BOSE officer, when contacted said that a communiqué to the concerned DC and SSP has been sent for the security cover of the examination centre while a formal complaint too has been lodged with the Vijaypur police for further action. |
