Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 3: Rules continue to be tailored at University of Jammu to adjust blue-eyed candidates. Sources told Early Times that a former scholar of Vice Chancellor Dr RD Sharma, presently a contractual lecturer recently has been awarded with the post of resident warden. "A scholar of Dr RD Sharma (VC), Bodh Raj has been awarded with the post of resident warden", sources said, adding room of a scholar was also vacated to accommodate Bodh Raj. "Room number 315 at Nehru hostel has been allotted Bodh Raj, by the JU administration", sources claimed alleging nepotism in JU. "Why VC's scholar is being given preference by the administration, there are number of efficient contractual lecturers' in the campus, why VC's yes men are getting prize posting", they wondered. "Earlier, a student leader was forced to vacate hostel, because he was not a yes man of VC", sources said, adding it is very unfortunate that different yardsticks were' being adopted in the campus. They further said that there are number of eligible contractual lecturers, but their services are not being extended while at same time, few contractual lecturers being close to Vice Chancellor, are getting additional duties. They said that prestigious institute, for which Jammuites have laid down their lives is being treated as personal property. It was not an isolated case, where rules were altered to adjust blue eyed in campus, the day since Prof. RD Sharma took over as VC, he is leaving no stone unturned to get his blue-eyed adjusted at significant positions. |
