High level team accesses feasibility of Nursing College at Kishtwar under Waqaf Act

Kishtwar, Dec 3: Following directions of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayed, the Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Rajouri Prof Javed Mussarat along with member Waqaf Council and MLC from Kishtwar Firdous Ahmed Tak today conducted visit to Islamia School complex Kishtwar to access the feasibility for establishment of Nursing College at Kishtwar under Waqaf property Act.
Talking to media persons the VC-BGSBU Prof Javed Mussarat who also is nodal officer of proppsed Nursing College, today said that the government is keen to start classes for the newly announced nursing colleges in state. He added that though the decision was taken on short note, but they are ready to establish the Nursing College at Kishtwar for which classes will be started form next academic session. In a question regarding starting of various BGSBU courses in Islamia School Kishtwar as was agreed in past, Prof Mussarat briefly said that he will look into issue and said that there is lot of thing need to do as well for the betterment of BGSBU
Meanwhile MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak laid stress for the judicious use of Waqaf property resources added that with the establishment of Nursing College at Kishtwar, many unemployed youths will get job oriented trainings and can serve the people of the state in health sector as there is lot of requirement of professional health trainees. He said that the government is looking forward for establishment for making the Waqaf properties functional and profit earning ventures. Earlier Prof Musarat address the school management and students highlighted the importance of educational institutions in building the society and laid stress for maintaining quality education. He also held a meeting with the staff and management of Islamia School Kishtwar and held threadbare discussions about the establishment of the nursing college.
