HC for final call within two weeks in alleged 37 backdoor appointments by 3 Ex-Speakers 12/3/2015 10:42:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3: In the much publicized petition seeking directions to the State Vigilance Organization to register an FIR against the then Speaker Mohd Akbar Lone and Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly Mohd. Ramzan for making alleged 37 illegal/ backdoor appointments in J&K Assembly Secretariat, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat of J&K High Court directed the IGP (Vigilance) to take a final call in the matter in view of the preliminary enquiry report submitted before the High Court in July, 2015 and further directed the SVO to place the decision taken in the matter before the Court and directed the Registry to list this petition immediately after two weeks. AAG appearing for SVO submitted that the SVO is awaiting a nod from this Court to proceed further in the matter as the matter was re-looked into on the express directions of the Court while counsel for petitioner put forth his point of view in regard to the case. After considering the submissions from bother sides, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat in the open court directed the IGP (Vigilance) to take a final call in the matter within two weeks from today and also directed the SVO to place such decision before the Court and further directed the Registry to list this matter immediately after two weeks. --(JNF)   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
