Kishtwar, Dec 3: The two teenagers aged between 14 and 15 years who were reportedly missing from Wasser here have been recovered from General Bus Stand, Jammu. Police identified them as Atikant, son of Om Prakash of Sigdi, Chatroo, and Robin, son of Kanshi Ram of Tagood, Kishtwar.
Om Prakash had yesterday approached Kishtwar police and lodged the missing complaint of Atikant and his friend Robin.
During investigation, it became known to SI Gurpal Singh, incharge of Kuleed police post, that the two teenagers had been sighted at General Bus Stand in Jammu, according to police sources.
Both of them were picked up by police and later handed over to their uncle in Jammu. The Kishtwar police were likely to record their statements to know why they had fled homes. |
