Early Times Report Poonch, Dec 3: under goodwill gesture, Commander of 93 Infantry Brigade N S Brar today handed over computers to Jamia Anwar-ul-Uloom in an impressive function organized at the institute. Speaking on the occasion Commander of 93 Infantry Brigade N S Brar highlighted the ideals of Sufism and underlined need of imparting high moral values to students who are valuable asset to any nation. While interacting with the students and staff, Mr Brar said that though the moral and religious education is important for every individual and society yet, in order to compete in present world, one has to be equipped with the knowledge of English, the lingua franca in which the developed nations today converse with, Science and Technology and modern scientific education. The Commander assured the jamia management of cooperation in the field of education in future also. Earlier, the management of Jamia informed the Commander that expenses of boarding, lodging and education of the students is borne by the Jamia through public donations. Mufti Farooq Hussain Misbahi thanked the Commander on behalf of the management, staff and students. Among prominent present on this occasion include Molana Syed Fidaad Hussain, Molana Saifullah Rathore, Hafiz Majeed Ahmad Madni, Molana Abdul Rasheed Misbahi, Molana Hafiz Tasveer Aleemi, Molana Hafiz Anees Mir, Molana Wilayat Misbahi, Hafiz Syed Khalid, senior Journalist, Harbhajan Singh Anand and Farooq Saqi.
