Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: In connection with the World AIDS Day, The Calliope School Doomi organised Awareness Week which concluded today. During the week, different activities were conducted in which school students from Class 2nd to 7th participated. The students of the school presented meaningful skits with the help of their class teachers highlighting the causes, symptoms and precautions of AIDS. The school also organised an interactive session in spreading counter AIDS awareness among the school children. Principal of School Kiran Raina said awareness is key factor to keep people away from this disease. She also appreciated the efforts of students and teachers and encouraged them to be helpful and sympathetic towards AIDS patients. School coordinators Shalini and Neha Uppal ably coordinated various activities conducted during the week. |
