Teacher among two more held from Rajouri in 'Espionage case'

Rajouri, Dec 5: Crime Branch of Delhi police, which recently has busted an Espionage network with the arrest of a BSF serving head constable and a library assistant from Rajouri and Manjakot, today arrested a school teacher and ex-serviceman form Rajouri for their alleged role in the spying network.
On Friday, Crime branch sleuth camping at Rajouri for the last few days had arrested a ex-serviceman from Thanamandi tehsil namely Munawar Hussain Mir s/o Nazeer Hussain who had joined army in 1995 and got retirement in 2011.
"All the four accused have been arrested from Rajouri district and are involved in alleged spying networking for the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan" said a senior officer of Delhi police Crime Branch.
The arrested teacher has been identified as Mohd Saber s/o Mohd Haneef r/o Kakora -Manjakot presently appointed in Tehsil Election Cell in DC office.
"Mohd Saber has joined the department as Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teacher and later was regularized.
Mohd Saber was also running a Cyber Cafe in Gujjar Mandi Mandi Market and was reportedly involved in sending the sensitive information related to country’s security by using WhatsApp, emails, Viber network etc collected by Kafait Ullah Khan Library Assistant at Government Higher Secondary School at Manjakot who already has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Delhi police, sources said.
It was Kafait's disclosures which led arrest of one Abdul Rashid, Head Constable posted in the intelligence cell of Border Security Force at Sector HQS at Rajouri. And today in the wee hours at about 5:00 am Delhi Police (Crime) Team raided the house of Mohd Saber in village Aith in the vicinity of Rajouri town and searched for him but he was hiding in the house of his brother along with his wife.
"On spotting the sleuths of crime team Saber tried to evade his arrest by jumping from a wall but fell down and one of his foot got fractured, sources added.
Sources further said that he was arrested and brought to District Hospital and later shifted to Jammu by the Crime Branch New Delhi.
Meanwhile sources added that another accused who has been arrested today is reported to be a government teacher and also has been taken into custody in Espionage case.
When contacted AK Atri, DIG Rajouri-Poonch briefly said, "All the senior officers of various security agencies have been directed to keep strict vigil on the activities of Over Ground Workers (OGWs) , surrendered militants and anti-national elements."
