Embarrassment for BJP as Govt refuses to withdraw service tax 12/5/2015 11:37:15 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5 : With the categorical denial of the state government to withdraw service tax on the pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi has landed the self-styled pro-Hindu party BJP in an embrassing position. All BJP ministers and leaders including Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh was in forefront to claim that service tax will be withdrawn within day or two but all these claims of BJP leaders proved fake. When this tax was imposed unilaterally by the government without consulting coalition partner BJP, the later claimed that it will be withdrawn within a day or two but now the government has flatly refused to withdraw it. Credible sources in the BJP said that party workers are not happy over the way party ministers have surrendered aspirations of the people of Jammu for lust of power. Sources said, BJP workers at party office were openly talking about failure of party ministers on this issue.
