Jammu, Dec 5 : J&K Sports Powerlifting Association had organized a State Bench-Press & Deadlift powerlifting championship (M&W) at RKM gym, Upper Gummat, Kanji House Jammu, for the upcoming national Bench-Press & Deadlift powerlifting Championship to be held at Milanee Hall Jamshedpur (Tatanagar) from 2nd-4th of January ,2016. More than 200 Powerlifters participated in this championship, which was inaugurated by Ch. Zulfkar-Ali Minister CAPD. He was honoured by the General Secretary Rajan Jain of the association and started the championship boosting the moral of the powerlifters of J&K State. Powerlifters from all over J&K including Srinagar and Leh also participated in this championship. Sidharth Sharma member (former Joint secretary) of J&K State Sports Council was also present in the inaugural ceremony |
