JAMMU, Dec 5 : Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association has decided to conduct selection trials to pick up probable for state team taking part in the 60th Senior National Wrestling Championship , (Free Style and Greco Roman) and 18th Female Wrestling Championship to be held at New Delhi from December 28 to December 31. The trials shall be held at wrestling hall of MA Stadium on December nine from 9 am onwards. Those interested wrestlers have been advised to report Jai Bharat and Sahil Sharma, both qualified coaches at the given date and venue, a handout issued here today said. Meanwhile, the Poonch Wrestling Association and Rajouri Wrestling Association conducted District Championships at Government High School , Surankote and Rajouri Sports Stadium respectively. A good number of wrestlers turned up at both the venues and contested for top honours in various weight categories, informed general secretary of the Association, Ajay Vaid. |
