Jammu Dec 5: Owner and relatives of Pari Mahal Banquet Hall on Jammu Pathnkot Highway objected the initiate from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) which in a bid to retrieve the land for the widening of the road and bulldozed a part of said Banquet Hall.
Sources said, "The demolition of some extended part of the Pari Mahal Banquet Hall was started by the National Highway Authority of India after it was realized that their land was encroached by the said banquet hall.
"While the drive was in progress, the relatives and owner of the Banquet Hall laid before the heavy machinery impressed into the job to stop the drive, sources said and added, "however, the drive was continued with intervention of the Gangyal police. |
