Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 5: High court Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar came to the rescue of a disabled person who had got a compassionate job but while travelling to join his duties, he had met with an accident on August 3, 1995 and became disabled. Application to that effect was submitted by him before the official respondents, particularly Minister for Home, J&K, directed DGP to provide him some alternate employment based on his qualification in the Police Housing Corporation in terms of the J&K Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1998.
