Denied admission in SDM School, father of girl calls on Education Minister 12/5/2015 11:32:04 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Dec 5: Unconvinced and disappointed over the denial of admission by management of SDM Public School Kishtwar to his ward father today called upon education minister and submitted a written complaint alleging that the school management has denied the admission of his daughter in class 5th despite passing her previous class from the said school. According to complaint communicated to Education Minister, the complainant Joginder Bhandari father of 5th class student of SDM Public School Kishtwar Kritika Thakur today called upon minister concerned alleging therein that the owner of SDM public school Kishtwar has denied admission to his daughter in class 5th."It may be worth to mention here that she had been studying in the said school since Nursery class, the complainant added. The aggrieved father Bhandari a renowned social activist and father of Kritika Thakur in his complaint addressed to the Minister stated that the owner of SDM School Kishtwar charged Rs. 1000 from each passed out students of class 10th as due to floods in2014 the examinations were postponed. He added in this manner school management have unauthorizedly charged fee for the months of October, November and December 2014 and January 2015 @ Rs 1000 from each 10th class students which amounts to Rs. 4000 from each student . 'The matter was brought into the notice of the Director Education Jammu, DC KIshtwar and Chief Education Officer Kishtwar by complainant and accordingly the CEO Kishtwar constituted the commission consisting of Principal HSS boys Kishtwar, Principal HSS Girls Kishtwar and Principal DIET Kishtwar who in their report submitted to the CEO Kishtwar reported that the owner of SDM Public School Sanjay Sharma had illegally charged fee from the passed out students of class 10th. Complainant said that the school management is denying admission to his daughter as owner of SDM Public School Sanjay Sharma have developed a grudge. Complainant also has alleged that Sanjay Sharma owner of SDM school also happens to be the General line teacher posted in Educational Zone Nagsani and is having close association with MoS PWD Sunil Sharma.
