Jammu, Dec 5: All Kashmiri Muslim Migrants Committee (AKMMC) Jammu called on Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari and submitted a memorandum of demands demanding allotment of quarters at par with Kashmiri Pandit Migrants.
In an emergency meeting of All Kashmiri Muslim Migrants Committee Jammu held with Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Department Basharat Bukhari at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which the delegates apprised their day to day problems to minister's notice and sought early redressal.
President Nazir Ahmad Lone alongwioth Ch Akbar, Sirjeet Rashid, Ab Qayoom Nazki, Showkat Ahmed Ganai, Mohd Yousaf Dar and others highlighted their problems and submitted a memorandum of demands seeking bifurcation of families and quarters to the Muslim Migrant, at par with the Kashmiri Pandit at Jagti Nagrota, Jammu. The delegation also raised the issues of Muslim Migrants lying pending from 2002 till date due to unknown reasons for their registration as Migrant. The committee also projected issue regarding pending files of Muslim migrants. |
