Sanskrit scholars starts door to door signature campaign | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 6: Sanskrit Scholars started door to door signature campaign in Raipur Domana and demanded for development of Sanskrit language. In a press statement issued here, president of Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan, Mahant Rohit Shastri were started the campaign encouraged the parents and youth to work for the development of Sanskrit language and to make Sanskrit as a day to day modern mean of communication. Being mother of all language, Sanskrit now trying to find it roots for existence in modern times. So through this signature campaign, they tried to educate the youths to opt Sanskrit for their carrier option and to encourage others for its development. On the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri also demanded a separate fully fledged central Sanskrit language in Kashmir. Moreover he also request state govt to set up a separate ministry for Sanskrit which look after the various development programs of Sanskrit language. He request the state govt. to make Sanskrit language compulsory in school staring from first class so that the coming generation is well developed with moral values of Sanskrit language. On this occasion around 2000 youth signed a memorandum which is being presented to our President of India Pranab Mukherjee ji to please take some necessary steps for the development of sanskrit language otherwise this ancient language remain hidden in history. |
