JAMMU, Dec 6: A Minister used his influence to get the SHO of a police station replaced by a sycophant Inspector who used to flatter him and had been behaving in a servile manner for the past few months.
The Minister used his considerable influence to persuade the police headquarters to replace the SHO of a police station, that falls in his constituency, with the sycophant Inspector of his choice, according to police sources.
Sources said the police headquarters obliged the Minister and made the sycophant Inspector incharge of the police station, replacing the SHO who was sent to some other district.
As senior police officers felt that injustice had been done to the SHO, they made him SHO in the other district also, the sources added.
This SHO had come to the executive police from CID where he had served for a long time. |
