'SHO assaults SP for interfering in his area' 12/6/2015 11:40:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 6: A Station House Officer had an altercation with his Superintendent of Police here after a team constituted by the SP raided residence of a suspect, sources told Early Times on Sunday. The SHO assaulting his senior has send shock waves among the rank and file of the police officials across Jammu division. Sources revealed that the SP constituted a special team after the residents complained about a hoarder (accused) is enjoying the police patronage and the concerned Station House Officer is not acting against him. The SP, who is an upright man took a strong note of the complaint and formed a special team which raided the house of the accused. However, nothing was found at the residence of the accused except thirty empty cans of 50 and 10 liters and some fuel which reportedly was stolen from the railway containers. "As soon as the news about the raid reached the concerned SHO he reached on the spot and allegedly hurled choicest of invectives upon the raiding party. The matter was brought to the notice of the SP who asked the SHO the reason for siding with the accused and misbehaving with the team. This infuriated the SHO and he tried assaulting the SP resulting in an altercation between the two," sources added.
