Pay Rs 20 for a walk in Tawi River Front Park

Jammu, Dec 6: Jammuites looking forward to visit River Tawi Front
park located close to Bikram chowk may have to dish out Rs 20 per adult and Rs 10 per child to gain entry inside the park.
The park which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed in the presence of Depty Chief Minister has been built at a cost of approximately Rs 5.5 crores and is equipped with swings, toy train, and other recreational facilities for children.
While in case the city denizens keen on taking a stroll in the park they will have to spend Rs 20 to gain access inside the park.
The park has been handed over to a private player for its regular maintenance. Soon after the inauguration when large number of children reached the park to enjoy the games they were not entertained by the employees of the private company who have been entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining the park on PPP mode.
