Agriculture dept organizes training programme for farmers 12/9/2015 10:47:22 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 9: Agriculture department today organizes training cum awareness programme for farmers under Kissan Jagriti campaign here at village Barmora. According to press release, Around 50 farmers participated in this programme. Agriculture Extension Officer Airwan Deepak Singh educated farmers regarding soil management to restore deteriorating soil health besides imparting technical knowhow regarding Rabi crops including wheat. S.L Thussu who was also chief guest said that management of pests and diseases of Rabi crops including wheat. Karor Singh progressive farmers of area praised agriculture department for organizing such type of awareness programme in future. Rajiv Sharma Jaeo awarded the farmers about KCC and other schemes of the department.
