Jammu, Dec 9: The court of city judge has ordered a stay on the suspension of Amar Singh Club (ASC) member Dewan Chand Bansal, a prominent businessman and owner of G D Goenka School Bansal's membership was suspended on November 27 night by the ASC management for his alleged "arrogant and wrongful" behaviour. The action against him was taken in an emergent meeting of the club's executive committee. It was unanimously decided that since he had used unparliamentary language", he should be shown the door. Against his suspension, Bansal moved the court of city judge, who after hearing the two sides said: I am of the considered view that the applicant has qualified all the three golden principles for grant of interim relief in his favour, so the operation of the impugned November 27, 2015 order is temporarily stayed till the disposal of the main suit. However, the findings arrived at in this application are independent of the trial to be conducted in the main suit. Accordingly, the petition is disposed off and shall form part of the main suit."
