UDHAMPUR, Dec 9: The people of Patwar Rathian staged protest demonstration against the suspended Patwari of the area at Battal Ballian road near Floor Mill in Udhampur under the leadership of Sarpanch, Halka Rathian, Puran Chand.
Addressing the protesters, Puran Chand said that few days ago ADC Angrej Singh Rana suspended a Patwari, Mohd Akhtar due to the complains of corruption received from the villagers.
He said that the people of Rathian are thankful to the ADC Rana for the suspension of Patwari. Puran Chand alleged that the suspended Patwari was habitual of demanding bribe worth thousands per head for issuing the land Gardowri. He demanded thorough probe into the alleged misdeeds of the Patwari. |
