| AOL teacher completes All India “Save Girl child"campaign; covers 17000 km | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 9: Art of living teacher Rishika Sahoo reached Jammu today after completing all the 29 states of India on Two Wheeler covering journey of 17000 kms in an effort to spread awareness in society against female foeticide and campaign for save the girl child all over India which she started on 24th September from Bhubaneshwar Odisha and covered all the twenty nine States of India in eighty five days on scooty.
Today Art of living Jammu Chapter along with people of different section of society gave her a rousing reception at Jammu and main function was held at NITS polytechnic Miran Sahib Jammu where she addressed a gathering of more than 700 female and male Students and made them aware about the purpose of her campaign. She stressed on adopting different methods and ideologies to promote the cause of Save the girl Child in society and explained how media can help by spreading message against female foeticide and save girl generations. Emphasizing that woman are the main architect of the family, she touched the topics how to be best parent for girl child, improve male female ratio, equal rights to women. She exhorted the male students not to take path of retaliation and save their friends from committing crimes which can help a lot in achieving such objective instrumental to build a healthy society. |
