Jammu, Dec 9: Artveda Creative Solutions Pvt. Ltd in association with Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust (AWICT) is going to organize 'Saahas', a self defense workshop for women at GGM Science College on December 12.
According to press release, with motto of, "Proud of Being Parents of a Daughter Now Make Your Daughter Proud of Her Parents", the aim is to create awareness among the masses that daughters are not weak and they contribute much to the development of society and shaping the future of nation.
"Let her be a part of "Saahas- self defence training workshop" and stop worrying about safety which is worry for fair sex. It is an effort to empower the girls", said Programme Director, Sahil Chopra.
Chopra said that different session are planned during the event which include focus area of health and sanitation, self defence demonstration, women empowerment and financial independence seminar, particularly related to women.
