| BCE, BDE jointly organize lecture on Oral Health | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Jan 12: Bhartiya College of Education (BCE) in collaboration with Bhaskar Degree College (BDE) Udhampur organized a lecture on Oral Health and Dental Hygiene with an aim to aware the students about oral health and its importance to general health and well being.
At the onset of occasion, Dr Anita Bali Principal Bhartiya College of Education welcomed the expert Major Dr Vishvaroop a consultant Orthodentist from Command Hospital Udhampur.
Resources person Major Dr Vishvaroop shared valuable information related to oral Hygiene, which is the practice of keeping the mouth and teeth clean to prevent dental problems, most commonly dental cavities, diseases and bad breath. He also informed the students that people with peridental disease are two times more likely to develop cardiovascular disease, bacterial pneumonia, osteoporosis, complication of diabetes etc. He through power-point presentation highlighted various measures to have healthy teeth and good health. The lecture was followed by an interactive session.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Principal Bhaskar Degree College P.L. Suri while Anita conducted the proceedings of occasion. |
