Police recruitment drive concluded | | | Early Times Report Vijaypur, Jan 12: Thousands of candidates participated in Police recruitment rally organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Board at District Police Lines, which concluded. K Rajendra Kumar, the Director General of Police (DGP) today also visited Samba and took the stock of recruitment process. "The recruitment rally registered a good response as about 4,666 aspirants including 350 females hailing from various parts of Samba district participated in it," said Lalit Indu Mohanty," Additional Director General of Police and Chairman, J&K Police Recruitment Board. "The female applicants have to cover a distance of 1 Km race in 7 minutes, while boys 1 mile in 7 minutes. The candidates have to complete in shot-put throw followed by chest and height measurement and the entire process is monitored through electronic sensor jackets and CCTV cameras, ADG said. He said that the written test would be conducted on March 20 for the final selection. |
