| Teachers' workshop on spoken English organised | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 12 : One day Teachers’ workshop was organized in Vishwa Bharati Public Hr. Sec. School Akalpur Morh, Jammu.
The topic of the workshop was Innovative Methods of Teaching English & Spoken English.
The objective of the workshop was to enhance the skills of spoken English in students. Dr. Vashisht suggested some specific tips to teachers to encourage the students to speak English. There was an interactive session in which teachers asked questions to resource person for the clearance of their doubts regarding teaching-learning of English language the programme started with the welcome address by Ritika Sharma followed by the objective of programme by Prof. Annapurna Koul. She asserted that such progra-mmes means to create versatility among the teachers for the overall development of the school by inculcating the culture of learning and self-improvement amongst teachers at ground level. Ashu Vashisht, Associate Professor Govt. Women College Gandhi Nagar, was the resource person on the occasion. SK Koul, Secretary Vishwa Bharati Public School, Annapurna Koul, Principal Vishwa Bharati Public School and the whole teaching faculty were present on the occasion. |
