JAMMU, Jan 12 : Semifinals position has been cleared with the entry of MBS Simbal Camp in the ongoing Jammu District Hockey Championship at K K Hakhu Stadium, here under the banner of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir. Other teams already placed in the knock-out stages of last four of the competition are Khalsa Club Gole Gujral, BSF Kashmir and 20 Punjab. Now, in the semifinals, slated to be held on January 16 from 1 pm onwards, Khalsa Club shall take on BSF Kashmir while MBS Simbal Camp shall lock horns against 20 Punjab. Earlier, in the last league encounter, MBS Club Simbal Camp outplayed Guru Nanak Nagar Club 4-3 today. Ramnik Singh (11th and 57th) and Jaspreet Singh (25th and 40th) were the scorers. From Guru Nanak Nagar Club, Sikander Pal Singh struck twice in the 13th and 37th minute while Gagandeep Singh brought in the first blood sounding the board in the very first move of the game. |
