Jammu, Jan 12: In the alleged Sainik Colony land scam, high court vacation judge Janak Raj Kotwal has issued a notice to respondents and ordered that till the filing of objections by them, investigation in VOJ FIR No 39/2015 to the extent of petitioner Kuldeep Singh shall remain stayed. The court directive came in a petition filed by Kuldeep Singh, seeking quashment of FIR No 39/2015 registered by VOJ under section 5(1) (d) read with section 5(2) of J&K P C Act Svt. 2006 and section 120-B which prima facie established offences on the part Balwant Singh, then naib-tehsildar, Bahu (now retired), Baldev Raj, then Girdawar, Sunjwan (now retired), then Patwari, Sunjwan, Vijay Kumar, son of Kaka Ram of Mohalla Dalpatian, Jammu, Amar Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh of Gurha Salathian, Naveen Chander, son of Sita Ram of Dhakki Sarajan, Pritam Singh, son of Hari Chand of Prithvipur, Jammu, Rattan Parkash, son of Dina Nath of Purani Mandi and Kuldeep Singh, son of Kanwal Singh of Toph Sherkhania. Justice Kotwal, after hearing the petitioner's counsel, issued notice to respondents and directed them to file objection and ordered that till they file objections, the investigation in FIR No 39/2015 to the extent of petitioner Kuldeep Singh shall remain stayed.
