EDLWU holds meet, demands implementation of CE directions 1/12/2016 11:59:58 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 12: Ana emergency meeting of All J&K Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union was held today under its chairmanship of Vijay Kumar Gupta in which office bearers and members of the Union participated. During meeting, discussions were held in connection with implementation of SRO 59 of 1990 dated 6-2-1990 read with SRO 381 of 1981 Dated 26-8-1981 and Government order No: 270-PDD of 1996 dated 6-8-1996. Besides deliberations were also held over Govt. order No: 78-PDD of 1995 Dated 20-3-1995 by which sanction was accorded for rationalization of pay scales of different categories of employees of PDD. The union appealed the general employees of the Department not to fall prey to false and fake commitments of some vested interested employees of the Department who have been misleading and misguiding the employees. The Union appealed the Executive Engineers of PDD of Jammu Province for implementing the circular directions issued by the Chief Engineer , Elect.
