Jammu, Jan 16: In an endeavour to raise general health awareness and to highlight the importance of regular health check-ups, two day Mega Multi Speciality medical camp being organized by Rotary Club of Jammu Aastha & Aggarwal Dharamshala Jammu in association with Medanta -The Medicity (A Multi Super Speciality Hopsital Gurgaon )Haryana commenced today. Doctors from various specialties and Super-Specialists (Dr H R Tomar-Cardiology, Dr Sunil Yadav -Neurology, Dr Raman Kant Aggarwal (Sr Director) from Bone & Joints, Dr Jasveer Kour from Gynecology ,Dr. Krishna Soni- Diabetes, Dr Suruchi Gupta - Eye, Dr Manik Gupta -Dental & Dr Monika K Goel from Physiotherapy along with paramedic staff will render their services to patients and try to raise awareness about diseases in their respective fields.
Patients will get ample opportunity to interact with doctors to enquire and gain knowledge concerning ailments. Teams of doctors are examining the problems related to general health, general medicine, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Physiotherapy, EYE, orthopedics, neurology, clinical nutrition, Diabeties, Physiotherapy and Dental health and very much providing their best of consultations and general health checkups to all age groups. Blood pressure check, blood sugar test, ECG ,& Echo cardiography ,BMD ,diet charts, and physiotherapy services are being provided exclusively free of cost . The dignitaries present on the occasion were Rtn Sumil Goyal President Rotary Club Rtn. Surinder Bansal Project Chairman RCJA, and officials from Rotary Club of Jammu Aastha & Aggarwal Sabha.
Today, around 275-300 people were benefited from the camp. |
