JAMMU, Jan 16: Even after his transfer, which took place a few days back, a police officer has been taking rounds of the area that fell under his jurisdiction and directing SHOs to do the works of his 'parties'.
The transfer has perturbed him greatly because he could not do the works which some parties had asked him to do, police sources said.
In all these works, the officer's own interests were involved, the sources alleged.
After his transfer, he is spending most of the time in his area, asking SHOs to do the works, sources said and added, "he wants all these works to be finished soon, knowing that the SHOs won't oblige him after a few days. In that case, he would suffer a financial loss."
On the day of his transfer also, he was in office till late at night doing the works of his 'parties', sources alleged.
