Kishtwar, Jan 16: In order to avoid the confusion and clash of dates for the written examination for the 4000 posts of police constables, Chairman Police Recruitment Board Lalit Indu Mohanty has asked the universities, boards and other recruitment agencies not to fix 20th of March 2016 as examination date so as to avoid clash of date/examination which may cause inconvenience to the aspirants.
Over 20000 job aspirants are likely to appear in the said written examination after taking the physical efficiency teat. There will be no viva test for the said posts.
As per the details available with "Early Times" Chairman Police Recruitment Board Lalit Indu Mohanty (ADGP HG/CD/SDRF) vide U.O No.PRB/PHQ/15/03/031 addressed to various heads of universities, boards, colleges and other recruitment agencies in state of Jammu and Kashmir requesting them to spare the 20th of March 2016 (Sunday) for holding the written examination for police constable posts.
It is pertinent to mention that in order to bring about transparency in the examination process, the Jammu and Kashmir police has taken the help of a private company from Delhi to carrying out the recruitment process involving modern electronic gadgets and system to make the recruitment process objective.
While talking to "Early Times on January 8, 2016 ADGP Mohanty while attributing the involvement of hi-tech gadget in police recruitment to former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had stated that "As and when the written examination is finished, the board will release the answer key and seek objections from those who appeared in the test so that there will be no scope of litigation with regard to selection process".
