EJAC (K), JCC urge Guv to concede employees demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 16: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (K), held its meeting at Excise and Taxation Complex, Rail Head Jammu under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmad Khan State President EJAC(K) in which members deliberated upon long pending demands of employees and workers and urged Governor of State to fulfill their demands. All the representatives in one voice appealed to the State Government to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including removal of pay anomalies/disparity of clerical cadre. Mustaq Ahmad Khan State President EJAC (K) and senior leader of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) appeal to the Governor of the State to full fill the commitments/agreements made by previous governments in the past with the representatives of the JCC during the meetings held from time to time and so that the demands of the employees and workers are conceded without any further loss of time. The pending demands highlighted include removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and other cadres, increase of medical allowance from Rs 300/- pm to Rs 2000/- pm, regularization of Daily wagers/ Adhoc/ContractualiITI Diploma holders and need based workers, .Release of 6% DA from July 2015, Enhancement of wages of Anganwadi Workers, Helpers and ASHA workers, Extension of Mediclaim policy in favour of Non-Gazetted Employees and etc. Others present in this meeting were S Balwinder Singh, Shahid Hussain, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, S Darminder Singh, Ravi Singh Bhau, Abdul Aziz, Ravinder Singh, Farooq Ahmad, S Harvinder Singh, Kirpal Singh, Nazir Ahmad and Deepak Kumar Earlier the EJAC leaders condole the sad and untimely demise of Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed arid a two minute silence was observed in the respect of the departed soul. |
