JAMMU, Jan 16: On the concluding day of 27th Road Safety Week, Motor Vehicle Department in collaboration with Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar and Regional Red Cross Society organized a blood donation camp at Regional Transport Office Jammu, here today.
Transport Commissioner (J&K), P.I. Khateeb inaugurated the camp.
Regional Transport Officer, Ashwani Kumar Khajuria, ARTO (BOI), S. Swarn Singh, ARTO, Saleem Manhas, ARTO, Deputy Director Planning Sushil Pandita, MVD Inspectors besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
On the occasion, about 80 volunteers including the RTO, ARTOs, officials of MVD besides representatives of Bus Union Jammu Kathua Group, Jammu Banihal Group, Mini Bus Workers Union, Taxi Operator Union and volunteers of the Trade Dealers donated blood in the camp. |
