Road safety awareness programme organized 1/16/2016 11:22:45 PM RAMBAN, Jan 16: Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Ramban organised a Road Safety awareness programme on the last day of the ongoing 27th Traffic Safety Week at bus stand, here today. This was the third programme organised by MVD to sensitize the youth, drivers and local population about the road safety awareness. District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Randeep Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySp) Traffic Ramban Kameshwar Puri, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Ramban Shammi Kumar and District President Congress and Mini Bus Association Ramban representative Advocate Arun Singh Raju were presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion DDC appreciated the drive launched by MVD Ramban and expressed his concern about frequently occurring fatal accidents in district Ramban.
