25% quota for poor students seeking admission in pvt schools
1/16/2016 11:34:11 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 16: I fully support 25 percent reservation in private educational institutions for those belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) and other economically weaker sections of Jammu and Kashmir. We should come forward to support the economically poor children so they get reservation in schools.
I want that J&K government should follow a policy on the lines of Delhi government under which children from the poor section should get hassle-free education.
I appreciate the Delhi government
headed by Arvind Kejriwal for tak
ing a good step for the welfare of poor children, the children who only imagine quality education in their dreams. I want that such a policy should be introduced in Jammu and Kashmir as well so that poor or economically backward children get quality education in private educational institutes. Government schools in the state are not fully equipped with latest facilities, hence the poor children are deprived of quality education as their parents cannot afford education in private schools.
