Missing teen recovered from Ambala cantt

Rajouri, Jan 16 : Rajouri police under the supervision of Rajeshawar Singh, SSP Rajouri has recovered the missing teen a student of class IX from Ambala Cantonment on Friday almost after a one month of his reported missing. Police sources said that one Chaman Lal a serving soldier approached Nowshera Police Station on December 15 stating that his son namely Vishal Choudhry student of 9th class in National Public School at Nowshera went missing. According to complainant his son had gone to school to attend the classes but didn't turn to home after school hours. "On written complaint police lodged a missing report and also reported matter to SSP Rajouri who deputed Sub Inspector Vishal Manhas as Investigation Officer (I/O) .and the further investigations were taken up. "The I/O under the supervision of Sargun Shukla,IPS, SDPO, Nowshera conducted several raids at the possible places but all went in vain. However Police continued its hectic efforts and also issued 'look out' notice in this regard, sources said. They added that meantime the father got a phone call from Ambala Cantt and the caller informed that his son is working as a labourer at his fruit juice shop and wanted to come back. He informed the police and the police party from Police Station Nowshera rushed to Ambala Cantt and recovered the boy and today brought him to Nowshera and handed over to the family members. Quoting teen Vishal Choudhry, police sources said, "He (teen) was annoyed with the parents over some domestic issue and wanted to earn at its own so he left Nowshera and reached Jammu from where he boarded in a train but was dropped at Amballa Cantt as he was travelling without ticket."
"Feeling home sick, he informed his employer (the juice shop owner) about his address and parents and requested him to contact his father and the boy was traced" said a senior police officer.
