Hr Edu Deptt blamed of ignoring GDC Bhaderwah 2/19/2016 11:02:41 PM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Feb 19: Despite making tall claims of ensuring equitable and balanced development among three regions, the State Government is alleged of discriminating the Bhaderwah in the allocation of funds as the Higher Education Department allocated funds for re-construction and development of all Govt Degree Colleges of state barring Govt Degree College (GDC) Bhaderwah reasons better known to the concerned higher ups. Official sources said, "Not a single penny was allocated to GDC Bhaderwah for its due renovation and face-lifting." "The callous and lackadaisical approach of the higher ups in higher education department apprantly has left local brewing resentment over the neglect of GDC Bhaderwah. Some locals alleged that Bhaderwah is being discriminated and the recent neglect of GDC Bhaderwah has vindicated the claims of locals about discrimination while making tall claims of the Government about ensuring equitable treatment exposed. Pertinently the historical Degree College Bhaderwah established in 1954 of erstwhile Doda district has rendered its significant role in education sector but now this callous approach of the state government for not allocating funds for development of a college functioning for the last six decades. Locals said that this is not a new incident of discrimination in past many government offices / institutions were shifted from Bhaderwah to other parts of erstwhile Doda district just to brush aside the Bhaderwah popularly known as 'Chotta Kashmir'.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
