Interview in Persian, Kashmiri, Dogri for AP posts on Feb 29

Jammu, Feb 19: Giving a relief to thousands of aspirants for nearly 1650 posts of Assistant Professor in Government Degree Colleges, the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has decided to resume the interview process from February 29th.
Sources in the JKPSC informed Early Times that on 29th of February the interviews for Persian, Kashmiri and Dogri subjects would start and would be followed by interviews for remaining subjects.
"The interview schedule will be notified soon in coming days", the official said, adding that JKPSC has also decided to start interviews for Superintendent ITI posts, in which the result of screening test was declared few days back.
Over the reports of requests sent by University of Jammu and Kashmir to withhold the interviews process till the report of Nagvekar Committee set up by University Grants Commission come, the official said that there was no direction from government side and the Commission would not stall the process indefinitely and it was still unknown about the outcome of the Committee.
Though that JKPSC is an autonomous body and after the 29th of February, the interviews process would continue and the interviews in the remaining subjects would also be done.
Pertinently, the University of Jammu as well as Kashmir have not been issuing the Minimum Standard Procedure (MSP) certificates and have been waiting for the report of Nagvekar Committee and had requested the JKPSC to withhold the interview process.
Early Times in its previous reports had already reported that interview process would be started in the last week of February and had also extended the submission of MSP certificates till February 25.
Secretary of JKPSC Shakeel-ur-Rehman said that interviews in Persian, Kashmir and Dogri would start from February 29. "Deficiencies in the subjects were already published and soon the interview schedule will be notified", he said.
On being asked about the interviews in remaining subjects he said that the interview process would continue after 29th of February.
