Guv cautions DCs against laxity in solving people's problems 2/20/2016 12:16:30 AM Ishtiyaq Ahmad Early Times Report srinagar, Feb 19: Governor N.N Vohara has directed to all the District Magistrates and senior officers that the solution of the problems of common people should be ensured at the primary level. Sources said that the on the directions of the Governor Raj Bhawan has forwarded a communication to all the District Magistrates that the common man must feel that deputed officers in their areas are making efforts for the solutions of their problems. Sources said that the governor has stressed that the officers posted on district, tehsil and block level should do their work with full concentration and devotion so that the problem should be solved at local level. "Officers should survey developments of their areas and must stay at their offices. Any complaint regarding non seriousness on behalf of any official will be dealt severely and the officers will be punished," the governor warned. Governor has further said that DCs must supervise their areas, tehsils, regularly and work for the people with honesty.
