| Senior traffic cop knocks politicians' doors for choicest posting | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 19: A senior cop has apparently shifting his loyalty from one political mentor to other just for the sake of managing his posting in executive wing of the police.
If sources are to be believed, the cop who is posted in traffic wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) has shifted his loyalty from ex-DyCM to a MLA who was also a senior Cabinet Minister in PDP-BJP government.
The cop who also served in a district as head is continuously paying visits to official residence of an MLA who remained cabinet Minister in PDP led BJP government just to secure his next posting in executive wing of the police.
"The cop who was known for being loyal of an Ex Dy CM in the police circle was then openly seen paying visits to the official residence of Ex Dy CM and now shifted his loyalty, for manipulating his choice posting in other wing of police", said a senior police officer, adding that these officers made competent officers devoid of postings.
He further added that these incompetent officers used to mount political pressure on the senior officials to consider them for prize posting despite their poor performance and immoral character. |
