NCP discusses political stalemate of State | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 19 : State NCP senior leaders today met under the chairmanship of Former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief J&K state to discuss the stalemate political situation in the state and the steps being taken by the Governor's administrative council. While addressing the media and party leaders Singh welcomed steps being taken by the Governor N N Vohra especially computerization /digitization of the revenue land records of the state before 10 March, 2016 which will curb the rampant corruption in the revenue department right from Patwari to upwards and it has become cancer disease to get a mutation from the Patwari unless his palm is not greased with heavy amount and demanded high level enquiry to check the movable and immovable property of Patwaris and their kith and kins and upwards. Singh said he has been raising this issue for the last so many years. The states like Bengal, Himachal and many other have totally computerized their revenue records and have helped the masses who are dealing with these Patwaris. State NCP has also welcomed other decisions of the Governor like fast track processing the cases of retiring employees before six months so that they can get pensionary benefits on time and also introducing self attestation of documents in the state. |
