Rotary Club distributes study material among needy children

Jammu, Feb 19 : Members of Rotary Club Jammu today distributed study material along with refreshment to the needy children of an Anganwadi School. President Rotary Club Jammu Rtn Rakesh Gupta also introduced a hand wash project in the Anganwadi Centre. While speaking on the occasion he apprised the children about the benefits of washing hands with soap at critical times - after using the toilet, before eating and preparing food. Rakesh Gupta said that hand-washing with soap can reduce the incidence of acute respiratory infections (ARIs) by more than 20 per cent. Rotary Club members on the occasion also provided the Anganwadi centre with soaps and other hand washing solutions. Members of the Rotary Club Jammu present on the occasion included Rtn Sanjay Sethi, Ex President Rtn Rakesh Malhotra, Rtn. Rajesh Aggarwal, Rtn.Bharti Raina, Rtn Sanjeev Verma , Rtn Sanjay Gupta and others.
