Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 23: The Government today appointed 18 law officers, one Sr Additional Advocate General (SrAAG), six each Additional Advocate Generals (AAGs) and Deputy Advocate generals and five Government Advocates for the J&K High Court Srinagar wing. Meanwhile government also accepted the rehonation of eight law officers. According to official spokesperson, Law Officer for the Srinagar Wing of High Court for conducting cases on behalf of the State are as under: N A Beigh as Sr Addl Advocate General (Sr AAG) Nisar Hussain Shah, Reyaz Ahmad Khan, Shahbaz Sikandar, Majid Aftab Wani, Mohammad Iqbal Dar and Ms Moksha Qazmi as Additional Advocate General (AAGs), Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Reshi, Syed Sajjad Geelani, Sajjad Mir, Shah Aamir, Qazi Rashid Shamas and Tufail Qadri as Deputy Advocate General (DyAGs) Whereas Sajad Mohi-ud-Din, Javid Sathu, Tariq Ahmad Lone, Hakeem Amaan Ali and Asif Maqbool as Government Advocates. Meanwhile Government also accepted the resignation of following Law Officer with immediate effect and whose resignation have been accepted included Shahvar Gowhar as Additional Advocate General (AAG), Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh as Deputy Advocate General, Irfan Andleeb and Khalid Hameed (both Deputy Advocate Generals) Danish Mufti, Owais Geelani, Ms Shazia Shahnaz, and Anees-ul-lslam who were appointed earlier as Government Advocates. |
