Cong protests against Pampore terror attack
2/23/2016 11:00:16 PM
Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 23: Congress today staged massive protest demonstration here today against Pampore terror attack wherein two Army officers along with three other securty personnel attained martyrdom.
Congress leaders burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and called them inept to control series of terror attacks in twenty months of BJP's tenure of ruling in the country. The protest was led by Naresh Sharma, Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee.
While addressing to protesters, Sharma said security personnel are sacrificing their lives to protect the country adding that foreign militants are continuously targeting security forces but those who should bother and take serious steps to control such elements, are acting like mute spectators.
"PM who roared before election, now keeps silent and remain busy in his foreign tours leaving people on their own and fail to control terror attacks," Sharma alleged adding that BJP used to say problem is in Delhi, not in border but now why do they are on back foot.
Speaking on the occasion, Congress leader Nirdosh Sharma said, "Rs 35000 crores are being lost, 19 people died in Haryana but BJP who have habit to play divisive politics with the aim to glue in power, has failed to control the situation."
The protesters demanded control on terror attacks and immediate remedial measures to Haryana and JNU issues.
