Srinagar, Feb 23: Slogans in favour of JNU's Kanhaiya Kumar, who was arrested under sedition charges, were today raised in Kashmir University. Raising their voice against the arrest of Kanhaiya, some students were seen shouting anti-national slogans. Meanwhile, in its latest report on the JNU row, Delhi Police has cited evidence collected by the varsity's internal inquiry committee suggesting that eight students, including the JNUSU president, allegedly indulged in raising unconstitutional and anti-national slogans. The Delhi High Court today issued notice to Delhi Police and asked them file status report on a bail plea of Kumar, arrested on charges of sedition. |
