Tube wells inaugurated at Uttri, Sahar, Kadyar Kumala, Jagatpur | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 23: Four tube wells were inaugurated today at Uttri, Sahar, Kadyar Kumala and Jagatpur villages at the cost of Rs 4.26 crore by Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department under NRDWP in Kathua constituency that had become nonfunctional due to lack of funds. Chief Engineer PHE, other concerned engineers besides Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of people were present on the inaugural function. The tube wells equipped with all high-tech and automatic equipments have capacity of 5000 GLNS per hours per Tubewell. The locals said that with the inauguration of these tube wells, the long pending demand of the people of the area has been fulfilled adding that thousands of souls of Uttri, Sahar, Kadyar Kumala and Jagatpur and adjoining villages will be benefitted with adequate drinking water facilities. |
