Dulhasti Power Station constructs water purification treatment plant

kishtwar, Feb 23: Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar has constructed Water Purification Treatment Plant with water purification capacity of 20,000 litres per hour here at Shalimar Colony. The dedication stone was unveiled by PK Langer, General Manager at RO Plant building, Shalimar in presence of Vipin Gupta, Chief Engineer (Civil), Jitendra Kumar, Sr. Mgr. (Elect), Rajil Vyas, Sr. Mgr. (Elect), R K Verma, Sr. Mgr. (HR), US Chhetri, Manager (Civil), Ratan Kumar Das, Manager (Geology) and staff members of various departments. After the start of operation of plant, General Manager inspected the plant and storage tank accompanied by other senior officers.
The water purification treatment plant was envisaged keeping in view the immediate requirement of the people living in Shalimar Colony. This plant will be beneficial to the 328 families residing in 'A', 'B' and 'S' Type quarters of Shalimar colony, which includes the staff of NHPC, CISF, Kendriya Vidyalaya and GREF.
