jammu, Feb 26: State Accountability Commission (SAC) chairperson Justice (retd) BA Khan has been invited to participate in the 13th SAARC Law Conference being held alongside the conference of Chief Justices of SAARC countries from March 4 to 7, 2016 at Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference would be inaugurated by Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on March 5, 2016 and its valedictory function would be addressed by all the chief justices of SAARC countries. Justice Khan, who is also President of SAARC Law (India), would be leading a team of judges, senior lawyers and law teachers from India to the conference. He would also be addressing the conference on the issues related to regional arbitration in SAARC. The conference provides a forum to law persons of SAARC for exchanging ideas on legal matters and to draw from each other's experience to promote cooperation among the legal fraternity of SAARC countries.
